Singapore Police Force : Gurkha Contingent

The Gurkha Contingent (GC) is a line department of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) consisting primarily of Gurkhas from Nepal, recruited by the British Army with the purview of the Government of Singapore. The contingent's roles are as a special guard force and counter-terrorist force.

Open once a time in a year at British Army Camp Pokhara and Dharan Nepal, only Nepalese youth from every part of Nepal and from every cast can apply.

C. Central Selection

1. Medical
2. Doko Carry, 2km Run, Education(Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
3. Heaves : Min. 12 Times
4. Interview (Board Interview)
